Rebecca & Declan's Beautiful Wedding at St Mary's RC Church in Chipping & The Inn at Whitewell

We loved creating wedding flowers for this gorgeous couple, we had some fabulous themes to play with not least Declan's Irish heritage and Rebecca's stunning colour scheme: pale pink & green, we had the joy of working in the most spectacular setting at St Mary's & the stunning Inn at Whitewell with some great wedding professionals to boot, we had the pleasure of spending the day  with the super talented Martin Cahill Photography, there was a beautiful gown from Wed 2B, a fabulous Church Choir The Valley Singers and so much more loveliness besides that we almost forgot we were actually working!!! xxx

So we got together with Rebecca & Declan back in December and then in April to discuss their beautiful Mood Board and again in June to create their sample designs which included Bridal Bouquets, Boutonnieres, Ceremony and Reception designs for them to see and try out

Sample Top Table design set on tree stumps
We always film the sample designs as it helps us to see them as our Bride & Groom see them

As ever the breathtaking view made my heart soar as we arrived in the suite set aside for bridal preparations ahead of the Bridal party

I love presenting the bouquets to our Brides and their Bridesmaids, Rebecca, Katy, Claire, Clare & Julie made this presentation such a pleasure.

I showed everyone how to cary their bouquets perfectly

I loved this relaxed wedding bouquet we'd included fresh Bells of Ireland a nod to Declan's Irish roots, sweet scented Freesia a super important ingredient, Peonies, Oxypetalum, Lily of the Valley, Sweet Peas and Roses with fresh Herbs including Rosemary, Mint and Eucalyptus

A beautiful Mentha Rose & Freesia Boutonniere for Rebecca's Dad Keith's Boutonniere
Jason & I headed off to St Mary's to track down Declan and his hilarious Groom's Men
Declan's rather special Bride Groom's Boutonniere featured a Sweet Avalanche Rose to represent his English Rose Bride and fresh Bell's of Ireland in recognition of his Irish roots

The boutonnieres were bound with jute string to create a rustic finish

The three Musketeers

St Mary's Church is really beautiful a hidden gem

A fresh flower swag dressed the 'Welcome' sign

Inside this heavenly Church the scene was set for a beautiful marriage service, we'd dressed the Altar with two fresh pedestal designs and the aisle with posies of fresh flowers on each alternate pew end
The Pew End posies were both pretty and fragrant, they included the signature flower Bells of Ireland & Roses together with Dahlias, Oxypetalum, Astilbe, Dill, Hydrangeas and Amaranthus

The magnificent pedestals were designed to compliment the floral backdrop

The Groom's Mum's Corsage of Rolled Rose Petals and Bells of Ireland looked gorgeous

The Valley Singers were in excellent voice
Our Groom and his Groom's Men had arrived very early so had headed to the local pub, they got back just in the nick of time

The beautiful Bridesmaids were all wearing fresh flowers in their hair to match their Bridesmaids bouquets
So gorgeous...

The Bridesmaids bouquets were created as smaller versions of the Bride's Bouquet, the soft shades of pink and pale green complimented their Rose pink gowns perfectly

The super proud Bride's Dad Keith

Rebecca looked utterly breathtaking

Father Chinnery conducted a very thorough and clear service

Huge Congratulations to Rebecca & Declan from all of the team here at Flower Design

Martin Cahill capturing all of the magic

Showers of blessing were falling from above outside, the precipitation meant the group pics had to be taken inside Church

Jason managed to negotiate the hordes of folks to get the flowers out of Church un-noticed (well almost)

The fresh fragrant Rose petals were handed out to shower our Bride & Groom as left Church

The celebrations moved on to the magical surroundings of one of my all time favourite wedding venues The Inn at Whitewell
Inside the beautiful marquee the tables were dressed with a combination of high and low table designs

Clusters of rustic jars filled with fresh flowers set on stacked seed trays and illuminated by candlelit jars

Large crates filled with fresh flowers and fragrant herbs and foliages were on some of the tables
Tall conical vases topped with Roses, Hydrangeas, Bells of Ireland, Dahlias and Stocks

'Blessed are the cake makers...' or something like that, what a stunning cake they'd made, we dressed it with some well placed fresh flowers

The top table looked truly wonderful set as it was against the most wonderful backdrop ever
Posies of fresh flowers were arranged on stacked tree stumps across the length of the table with candlesticks and candlelit jars

Our work here was done, many thanks to Rebecca & Declan for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers for them xx
